We allow anything that legal under the law of the country hosting the site, it is up to you to ensure this. We dont look into it until we are notified from the police or datacenter.
As for abuse handling we forward anything we receive however to date this is a total of about 3 DMCAs.

Yes the wiki is currently unavailable.

See: http://www.x4b.org/proxy/prices.html

Your service is IP + Bandwidth

or

a Plan (which includes an IP).

As for the disclosure of customer information, we have never had any trouble with the police but ultimately if a court order comes in to disclose the details we store (email address and services) then we are bound by law to do so. Same as any other host, registrar or company.

As our main processing servers are in Germany it is against the law to store any identifiable information such as IP addresses for customers so we do not partake in IP logging however payment processors may (and most likely do).

Currently working to resolve the downtime on US DDOS1. Upstream Network issues.

UPDATE: Appears to be resolved, awaiting confirmation from NOC

Dear X4B Client,

As you aware we are currently having issues with Russia Node 2, this is not the first time this problem has reared its ugly head, and it doesn't seem like it will be the last. As such we have decided to terminate the service.

Everyone affected has been credited with the cost of 1 months service + 25% for the inconvenience (non-refundable). We ask that you transition to the Russian or Swedish services because as of the 15th of next month we will be shutting down the service. Stock may become tight during the next week as a result, we will place orders and if you raise a support ticket regarding this you will be given priority.

Yes, this will mean new IPs and for that we apologize but it is necessary to leave this problematic network range. If there is anything we can do to help raise a ticket and we will do our best.

The Node should be up soon we have been told however, although we are still waiting.

-X4B

Glad you enjoy, as always let us know if you have any issues. :)

Public reminder that the Russia 2 node is being decommissioned tomorrow, despite 3 emails being sent out over the past month there are still 3 people on that node. Please move nodes, terminate service or contact support.

Bandwidth usage is calculated at an application level as the total data transfered for the HTTP Connection. At the application level means any overhead from TCP is ignored. Additionally as its at the application level it is calculated after GZIP (for clients) so if its transfered data, not raw bytes.

Bandwidth included is both between the client and the bacekend. So thats the bandwidth from the client to the server, server to the backend, backend to the server, server to the client.

Thanks UncleSam, yes it does work. Sorry we cant do a free trial, we have had too much abuse of it in the past. Howeaver load $2 on your account and try out IPs via PAYG billing. PAYG billing is literally PAYG (with billing being performed every 60-300 seconds), that should provide a pretty adequate test.
