At the time of purchasing WarezScene's server, it hosted three different sites.
Each site was hosted as a VDS, using Xen Virtualization.
Approximately three months ago, both other sites were removed from the server, leaving us with one VDS, and at the time there was no point in removing Xen completely. WarezScene's growth surpassed expectations, and high traffic sites aren't ideal or designed to run in virtualization. Yesterday however, Xen crashed (as it has in the past), and the image of WarezScene was partially corrupted, and unable to boot.
Over the next 24 hours, we will be removing Xen completely, and using the bare server to host the site. We will be reimporting an older database (2/3 days old), and setting up a clean install, but this takes time. About 36 hours ago, we performed an upgrade of WarezScene's version, which is complicated due to the amount of customization to the base vBulletin code (roughly 20-30%). There were many bugs, so before we put the site back online tomorrow, we'll be taking care of those too.
The site has not been taken down, attacked, or any other rumour you may have heard.
Thank you.
