Which one you prefer to build a website wordpress or joomla?

i prefer wordpress but only because i am used to that and have never tried joomla.
I can design and code wordpress also so i find that alot easier for myself when i am creating a new blog

Joomla is a great CMS but for a simple (warez) blog I'd recommend Wordpress.

WP easy and fast, more of that its lot of easier with plugins
Joomla is on step stage to change the way they work. But that's gonna happen only from version 2.0.0......
Joomla is great CMS, but for now after each upgrade you have to wait till your plugins get updated till you can use them.
Unless you want to use 1.5 version which will be only supported up to 2013 and lacks of all features that 1.7 has....
So if you need easy manageable website go for WP. Big community, support team, choice of plugins, coders.
