In an announcement today, Microsoft has finally said that Windows 8 is now complete. Microsoft has begun delivering RTM versions to manufacturers and the general availability of the tablets and computers using Windows 8 will be on October 26th. 'Microsoft's final milestone concludes almost two years of development for its new Metro-inspired Windows 8 software and marks the beginning of the release phase. Microsoft says MSDN and TechNet customers will be able to download it from August 15th. Windows Store will go live on August 15th. Developers will be able to access the final tools and submission process for Metro style apps at the Windows Dev Center later this month.

One imp thing is that windows 8 will come with better security patches and apps than windows 7 . Plus ,it will have internet explorer 10 which seems better browser in comparison to all other ie versions .

hope ,windows 8 will do better than windows 7 .

Windows 8 is releasing so soon to get flopped so they can work hard on their next project win9 in future.

This Metro UI looks shit in desktop computers.

Microsoft just wants to compete with touchscreen devices because they think or know that is the future of personal computers,
that is why the metro on the desktop looks like shit, they are just testing victims sorry i mean faithful m.s. windows clients.
I will not install it till i know it's stable enough as for the Internet explorer 10 it's pure shit against the Firefox and Chrome.
