that is not my screen shot sorry my error is the same i have mcafee installed its not a virus i had this on my other pc just moved from windows xp on to my windows 7 and now cannot open it

Upload the file on: http://www.virustotal.com/

And let us know its result.

As Dlow said, might be some type of virus

But then even if u want to host that in ur pc, then

Download Universal Shield (Search on wbb for free)
Add your specified file to Universal Shield thus disabling to to not delete that file

Disable your antivures for 10 minutes
And then see if its working to check whether antivirus is the cause for this or not

i did diable my av but still the same

also my pc keeps deleting this but i have no idea what is installed to delete the file

i no this file is 100% safe been using it on windows xp for years

You still did not say why you have that program or what it does. If your message is not that program what is the program?

If it is that program rename it to something else.

ibby1001@ that is not his screen shot.. he just haz that error

ibby read the second part of my question bold & red... :)

Who cares what the program is? For all we care it can be a virus binder. Disable UAC. Disable Antivirus. Enable brain. Right click and choose Run as Administrator.

Not helpful and unintelligible. We care because we can check to see if it is one one the newer virii/trojans found not yet covered by is AV program. Then we can tell him the best way to remove it safely. Or if it can be removed without restoring his computer.

it is a number of programms i am trying to install on my system on is mass mailer another is yahoo messenger and another is a chat system all give same error even when click run as admin

Have you tried booting into safe mode and logging into the administrator account?

Then try installing something that you are sure is not a virus. Something downloaded from microsoft or a site you feel secure not to give a virus.

If this works try moving one of the files from the folder you are executing it from to another folder such as c:\temp if it exists and try running it from there.

I personally think the whole permissions of your installation are not valid. You are probably using a modded/edited Windows 7, to edit Windows 7 you need to change permissions. So the author may fucked up the setup. So I recommend you to install a fresh Windows 7, and activate it with Daz Loader.

+1

basic windows layout FTW.

95% of the time your on your browser or watching a video.. i hardly ever look at my desktop so no need for a special background (even though i use win7betafish)

basic windows aero is good enough too. no need to make things all crazy looking. only make things more difficult.

simple = win

if you are sure its safe... rename the file, this is because if your av marked it as unsafe you wont be able to run it with the same name, unless you remove it from the list, but its easier to just rename it, add it as an exception to your antivirus, right click it, properties> select to run in compatibility mode, and run as administrator.
should run :P

You get that error when your antivirus or security suite has added the program you are trying to execute, to the untrusted list. You need to manually move the program into your AV's trusted list. The procedure varies from AV to AV. Try to see what you can dig up in the AV Settings.
