Pardon me but I use RL, didnt like the Sborg feature, was more interested with RDP, as RDP can help me with quality releases!

I have used demo from some 3-4 services, but they sucked ass  , so slow and laggy, opening a page on chrome is so slow, speeds are good, but the RDP always seem to lag! When I drag a window across or pull scroler down while browsing, the screen shifts bit by bit, so annoying!

Maybe i was using Demo so, but in reality, do RDP act so slow?! I am only talking about RDP interface, not speeds.

Please no bashing posts here. Only genuine advice!

Yea they are usually slow Cox of difference of connection speeds, that's what I don't like, but if your connection is good then there's not much lag.n this lag also depends on how much ram is in usage

It depends on your connection, but yes, RDP is slow. There is no difference between demo and "reality"

Never browse internet via RDP
use ur PC for browsing use RDP for downloading and uploading
sppeds shall be lightning fast

It's not the RDP that's slow, it's your slow connection and your routing to the RDP that's the cause.

Yes, might be, I use a 512kbps connection, and connect via Remote desktop account

yes, they are a bit slow - but not as slow as you are describing

Yes, I am aware of this!

check the location of the rdp and then try pingtest.net for that location

i generally don't get lag with OVH/NL RDP so i just tried it with france right now and this is the result i got

Thanks for suggestion!

The reason why RDP is laggy is because a lot of data has to be transferred from the server to your screen.

I have a 16MBs connection and the RDP is just a little laggy. Of course it also depends how many people are connected.

the greatest thread basher foxman is having troubles with rdp
mate as u described in earlier post u use a 512k connection that might be a issue so please with your uploading money but atleast a 1mb connection

Speed of RDP Generally Depends on

1) Location
Solution Check your ping
2) Users per Server
If speed of server is 1GBPS its not dedicated so maximum a server can push is 500MBPS and People are uploading @ speed of 400MBPS
That leaves 100MBPS for RDP Users with active users constantly figiting with RDP its most likely used up

Just my 2 cents

my connection is 1mbps and its a bit laggy.
its too laggy when u open images or videos.
So i suggest, minimize the graphics, and resolution.
Better go for Linux as they are blazing fast :)

you can also try to add these lines in your default.rdp file in Windows 7 C:\Users\YOUR USER\Documents

Code:
bitmapcachesize:i:32000
bitmappersistcachelocation:s:\Temp

make sure
Code:
bitmapcachepersistenable:i:1

you can even set the value
Code:
session bpp:i:[B]value[/B]

to 8 but the display will be a real crap

NOTE:
default.rdp is a hidden file, you can edit it with Notepad.
