upgraded to a Droid Razr Maxx a few weeks ago. Remarkable phone, shocking battery life. with heavy usage (wifi, gps, web browsing, gaming) I've never had the battery go below 30 after 18 or so hours of usage.

I really am hoping the new iphone is on par as far as hardware is concerned, apple needs to step their game up in that regards the 4s is so slow compared to the droid based phones

Probably looking at either the Samsung Galaxy II or Samsung Galaxy note
