Which one should i choose?

Hi,

I'm not sure which one i should use for my video script webhosting.

Vps Redswitches
Intel x3440 Quad Core CPU / 1 GB Ram / 200 GB HDD / 1Gbps Unmetered Bandwidth

Dedi kimsufi 2g
Intel Atom 1.2Ghz / 2Gb Ram / 1tb harddisk / 100mbs unlimited

What do you suggest?

Well of course the x3440 quad is a kill compared to the atom. Atom servers are useless they are low end computers.

The only thing that makes the x3440 bad in your case is the ram. Upgrade it with atleast 2gb and you should be fine as video encoding is mainly cpu intensive, but you will need more ram to cover the web server memory usage from web server processes staying open due to streaming.

Also the 1gbps would come in handy as that 100mbps will surely slow down in no time due to its limits. 1gbps allows the network to breathe a bit.

As to the space you might want to upgrade it. Not sure what you will be encoding your videos to so space might become a issue.
