DJ Nice laptop.

The issue with HP is the fan is at the back which Sux big time. Gets hot fast. And stuff.. Thats why i dont want HP. :P

@Excel macbook is good but i will have things to install such as Visual Basic and other programming stuff in my university :P so i guess windows will do the job..

Also a macbook here in Kenya is very expensive.. :P

My sister also has one of that, i might get either a DELL or a Sony VAIO. one of those i dont like toshiba and acer and now in my list is HP. :P

Asus are the most reliable laptops according to several reports, after it are Dell, Sony and Mac, at the very last is HP.

They're a lot more worth it considering how long a windows comp will last compare to a mac that has all the extra features you don't need plus apple support practically loves you.

A macbook's hd shuts off if it detects being dropped in its accelerometers not to mention that mac is more efficient than Win7 imo. My Macbook from late 2007 runs much smoother than my windows laptop which is the same specs.

It all really depends what you want. Mac's are good for all media like graphics and such, as well as web and app dev's.

I never said it's not worth it, I only said it's overpriced, I agree they are great laptops (like I said in my previous post) but to the common user, it's very expensive.

They have alternatives, like Asus, Sony, Dell..etc, those too are not bad laptops.

True. I <3 macbooks. Great performance without comprimising battery life and design!

I am going to get a MBP when I head to uni... Anyway, within that price range, if you can get a dell, go for it.

Can you guys tell me which one would i go for? of (P.S Dont suggest me a HP i am tired of it. Anything also exept Toshiba..

I want a laptop that has webcam, good memory and may be 17" or the big size ones.

My vote goes for DELL. Just register in dell website and you can go for your own customized laptop with the features you love, flexible customizations within your budget.You finalize your customizations and order online.

Then call their customer care with purchase id you got in your mail and ask for discount, I'm sure they will reduce price or ask them to give free gifts like TV tuner card etc.

Further if you wanna a gift card for reduction please contact me before june 10 I'll give. I got this deduction offer card as I purchased about 12 Laps for my friends under my name so they gave this Number for me for next 2 purchases one is left with me.
