Where to invest money?

I have some money laying around that I need to invest, I have invested around $500 on some site and the results are looking good so far.

I want to invest around 1k, I don't want to buy websites as I am managing my sites right now and I have no time for a new site.

Basically, it's a social networking site with one major twist, the users are the owners. Instead of them taking large investments from venture capitalists, they take smaller investments from there users.

So you buy (or earn through referral) these "vshares" which, right now are virtual shares in their company. They cost $1.00 each. Once the site has reached 1 million vshares, the vshares will be turned into full on shares in the company.

An interesting statistic on there website is "If Zurker were to continue to grow and attain a valuation of $50 billion like Facebook, each vShare would be worth $50,000."

I was sketchy about the whole thing at first but after reading several articles about the site I've come to believe that there's no way they will scam and that, no matter what, in the long run I'll be making money.

It's just a thought. I really like the idea though. :D
 
Have you considered the stock market? Check out premier foods on the london stock exchange, disposal news came in today and there are a lot more coming and Q2 results around early August will boost the price

It can be volatile but you need some bottle, I doubled my money on them earlier this year

EDIT: Just wanted to add, I make my money online and use a hefty chunk of it to invest on the stock market, It's just what I do :P

Invest your money on bitches man.. ! You know what I mean.. I mean enjoy them and after that make a site and sell your enjoyment moments man.. =) Everyone digging.. man........
