Where do i get content for my blog??

So im thinking of starting a news type blog on technology. But i have a few questions:

Sites like Gizmodo, AppleInsider, TheNextWeb inspired me of the idea.

1. Where do i get my content, latest news from that i put on the blog? What sources? is there a main source?
2. Where do sites like AppleInsider and TheNextWeb and Similar get it from?
