Where can you get Payment Gateway Provider Commissions and Bonuses?

Hi,

I am very curious about how I could earn more money as a developer. I have called and spoke with a couple of the major credit card processing companies such as Authorize & First Data, and they both offer partnership type programs. This could provide be a better source of income for me, each e-commerce website requires a payment gateway and through the implementation of their service I can earn income. I cant seem to find very much on this topic. I started wondering if there are some well-seasoned developers here who might know a thing or two.
