No its not. Adobe InDesign is much more suited to layout a brochure. Illustrator is more suited for making graphics and drawings.

You should use either Adobe InDesign or Corel Draw. Both can cater to your needs although I find InDesign to be more better than Corel Draw.

Hello, I prefer Adobe Indesign than illustrator for brochure design. Adobe Indesign is very professional.
