from my understanding it is NOT illegal to download in Switzerland.

But it IS illegal to share.

I was tolk with Private Layer:

1) Switzerland is a good chose for anti DMCA like NL?
Yes switzerland is a good place for to host we are not strict on DMCA requests.
We have many clients hosting warez linking torrents and have no problems with them.
However we do ask that you comply with DMCA within a timely manner.
Were pretty flexible so DMCA is not a problem.

2) Do u have any unmetered plan for 1000Mbits link Servers?
Yes we do have 1000 mbits link server all of of our servers come stock
with 20tb BW and 1000mbits ports.

3) What is ur "managamend" Full managed servers? Or Self managed servers?
Our servers are unmanaged but we do help clients out on a case by case basis if
they require it. This is discussed with tech support they make the choices.

4) Do u have any DDOS protection?
Yes Our network has security at a Cisco level and we do offer DDOS protection.
Our Tech and networking departments are trained to handle these attacks and solve any DDOS attack problems

l0calh0st: I'm curious about different locations. Sweden is expensive too and the law there is not really clear... NL could be a good choice but only temporary IMHO, so i'm trying to find a place where it would be possible to stay for a while

I recommend you Lithuania, Estonia, Ukraine. I've some good experience with those locations.

Yeah, Estonia sounds good, but it's pretty hard to find a dedicated there..

Lot of nice opportunities in Ukraine... Has there been some cases copyright related there? (I know that there have been a few porn related, but don't know about linking or torrents of non porn content?)

About Lithuania... Why not. Do you know a bit about the legal situation there?
