What are your thoughts about HTTP/2?

Hi everyone,

I wanted to get a general idea of what you think of the emerging HTTP/2? So far, it seems quite promising and able to reduce web page latency better than HTTP1.1 and even SPDY. What are your thoughts?

We as a host love HTTP/2 as it reduces the number of connections required by a server, and it changes what developers and publishers should do as best practice.

So now, stop using multiple subdomains, as you will get better results without them, stop using sprites and go back to using well optimised images etc.

Look out for hosts using LiteSpeed, as they are already using HTTP2, as are CDN77.com the PAYG CDN providers.

We've been serving customers pages with HTTP/2 for years using LiteSpeed and we think it's great as it uses fewer server resources and gets the pages and static content to the customers faster.
