Look in the index file and delete it. You should open it and see the source of the current home page. Just delete that file.

@All, this hacker has just targetted vBulletin sites on the server therefore seems to be a loophole on most of the vBulletin sites.

Please delete the Index.htm file and everything should be fine.

The other rest i suggest to upgrade your VBulletin. As other legit versions of vBulletin hosted on our server are not hacked.

We have a Quad Core Server which is the Shared Server, and can handle a huge number of websites on it.

We make sure that everything seems to be fine, today has been a hectic day, as the server has been hitting high up the server load, this could be due to the hacker hacking the vBulletin sites.

I suggest when you log into your cPanel please go to your home directory and you will see a file like, last login please provide the IP to me for checking if its not yours.

Thanks & Regards

isnt it like a brand new site anyway? with like barely any posts? if replacing the index.htm dont work why not re-install?
