This webmaster has been around since the AOL Hometown and Yahoo Geocities era (early 2000's). He's operated dozens of his own websites and has been in and around the scene predominantly for the past 6 years. BlaZe is a respected member on WJunction and currently operates iPhoneLOL.com & BeastieBay.net.

Can you give us a brief background/bio on yourself?

To start with, I'm a boy :P and in my final year of graduation in the field of electronics. I think you can guess my age, its 20.

Have you ever been interviewed before?

Yes hardly. I can count it on my fingers. Just twice and that too for college magazine and the third one is this.

What is your online handle?

I'm currently having nothing to do online. But I would put myself as a freelance web developer.

How did you come up with "BlaZe"? (That's a badass nick btw)

Aye thanks ) It came out from my blazing attitude my friends used to talk about. But my earlier nicknames were related to Dragon Ball Z, since I'm a great fan.

You've been around the scene for quite a while now, how long has it been?

Roughly it is 6 years since I've been digging my nose into the scene

Who was the first person that you met in the scene?

He was a 13 year old boy (at that time) who had the same mindset as mine. His username was FireCracker. A moderator on a forum where my fantasy was to become a staff of it.

When did you start creating websites?

Had my very first website on Yahoo Geocities when I was 12. But that shouldn't count since it was not related to the scene. I opened a forum in the year 2008 and it was related to the "scene"

What was your first website?

Desi-Warez.info was my first ever website I created.

What was your most successful website?

Ah this, I cannot justify. I tend go get bored of my websites quickly just after the work of building and pushing it in the initial stages would cease. So none of my websites were a hit. All were infact a hit-and-go types. I made, spent time, sold them, they died. But my current website BeastieBay.net is running quite good. I can call it successful.

You favorite website in the whole-wide-world is (drum roll)?

Don't have any favorite though. Yeah but I do have timely favs which I can list according to the era :P like when I was in web hosting business, WJunction, WebHostingTalk, DigitalPoint were my favs; when I was an uploader SMForum, TheHotZone, ViperFiles, etc were my places to hangout.
All time favourite is WJunction, ofcourse


It's not WJunction . How is that even possible?

Nah we have a private nude cam chat in the respected area so definitely it is my fav website X-D

What are some of your most memorable moments online?

I gained trust and respect of the crowd on WJunction.com and I was made a respected member hence. I could mark it as a memorable moment.

If you could go back a year from today, what would have you done differently in life?

I'm thinking but unfortunately nothing is coming in my mind. I guess everything was right and I don't wanna have anything to be changed.

What are some of your online skills?

Web Development (even UI concept design)

Consultancy (people ask me about guidelines)

How did you go about learning those skills?

For the web development, I pretty much Googled everything and learned by trial and error concept. Same goes for SEO. Marketing concept is a natural gift which I have

What would you say you cherish the most in your life?

My curiosity and greediness to know everything, because of that I learned many new things.

And the thing that absolutely drives you insane?

Getting disturbed when I'm designing or coding something.

In celebration of Veterans Day. You would consider yourself a Seasoned Veteran wouldn't you?

This question I don't know how to answer. I could bifurcate myself as a veteran in few areas but I'm still novice and always learning.

Nothing.

What are some of your hobbies?

The usual, gaming, biking, watching movies.

Your dislikes?

Theres a huge list. I dislike assholes, sea food, being late anywhere.

Paneer Kadai/Tikka

What do you think of ScrollDog.com?

It looks promising and well built (design). Just go with the flow, would love to see this site flourish.

What do you think WJunction.com could/should do to improve itself?

Its going pretty well, just a new theme again (kidding; there used to be a fuss about WJunction's new design in the past)


For those who are reading this and thinking of following in your footsteps, what kind of advice would you give them?

Honestly, don't try to walk in my footsteps. Everyone is different. If you are really mesmerized by my profound activities then just keep them in your mind but always be yourself. Don't copy others; you are unique.
Do the right thing at the right moment and take the right decision.
