Actually they pay more than 20 bucks an hour for people 18-21 and then they start paying the big money And I doubt you will survive in a police school/academy (They are 9 months and most police station require you to pass with a 75% or higher percentile on the "Peace Officer" test) trying to memorize the penal code and the radio codes and other law stuff

Trust me I have Criminal Justice and Law classes. Also police officers are scared of nobody. Police officers are the ones looking for trouble.
