Today we had a very interesting discussion with one of the reps from MaxMind. We requested 2 times the country correction of one of our IP blocks. The block is routed in Netherlands, country on RIPE is NL, but Maxmind is refusing to geolocate the IPs to NL arguing that our company headquarters are in Romania and that's why they geolocate IPs to Romania. Our clients using IPs from that block are opening tickets being confused about their servers location. We strongly NOT RECOMMEND MaxMind for geo-location.
