Yup, I know that he's aware of it. You already told me about it, but the thing is. He still has the WarezScene.org domain, if he was so happy with the decision, he would have gave you the WarezScene.org domain, or redirected it on the WarezScene.net.

Well, I don't know. This shit isn't official as UltimA still has WarezScene.org, so he could bring back WS when he feels like it. Anyways, there's nothing to be reviewed, same ol' Bluefox skin with customized icons and a logo. Everything else is the same. For example, Chatbox shouldn't be viewable by guests as it just increases the page load.

Same here. You are just trying to get some "fast" traffic.

You pretty much copied it, but it doesn't really work like that.

Same happened when Gigawarez or something like that, used ripped Ninja Warez theme and poor guys copied everything hoping they will get big as NW.

Edit: If he really agreed he would sell you the domain or atleast redirect it like Jason said.

I dont think he still has the domain thats probably why the new owners wanted the domain and they made a torrent site out of it:D and the skin is not ripped we have full rights to it.

We bought the db and skin but the problem was that the db was corrupt and he didnt have another backup the reason we couldnt retrieve user clientel

I didn't said you ripped it, rip and copy is not same, but using same old skin, forums, etc is kinda boring.

It would look a lot better if you had launched it with new, even better, custom skin.

Simply because i am an old ws member who wants the site restored, Wtf has being unique got anything to do with this, this is a revival of site with permission of the original founder.

TBH we have different ideas on subjects.

Edit: About the skin etc we are planning a new one based on this one tho we dont want to alienate the members.

Now my opinion.is just stupid to revive a forum hoping it will be a big hit.From my view when WarezScene.org was a hit (some years ago) there weren't billion of users with multiposters..

There won't be anything the same..create something new.

To be honest we didnt bring it back to be a big hit, we wanted our old community back, thats what i most enjoyed about warezscene, we dont want to be the biggest forum nor the smallest nor are we here to make money or anything like that. And its not like we are doing this without permission from the orignal founder is it?
