New blog i just started i still have some touchups to do on it but anyways i would like some reviews so far

p.s the posts are just for testing purposes

The design is very nice 9/10

the colors need to be changed the dark grey doesnt look very nice to me.
Other than that great stuff :)
 
I think the whole thing is a bit too grey, maybe a bit more contrast in the grey to make it less flat eg the text in the footer "Home" and "© 2009 WarezEvo". As mash-e1 said it just doesn't look right.
I also don't like view full size for the images as it opens the images in the same window (tinypic :O ) and you have to click back to return to the page. Their great in the category view but in the page view why not just show the full image and have a mod that controls the site of the image to reduce it if it's too large. Also having only one image means you'll never have screenshots?
What's the point of the red bits in the top right of some of the posts?
Overall I like it and it has potential.

EDIT: add a katz button as I want to see how you'll integrate tricky stuff like that.

will probably add a twitter like button for katz next to the rss one but not today , next year :P
 
The template looks like my phone :P Looks nice over all but there's negative space, what about adding something to the BG? Or you can use the liquid based theme? Looks nice ;) *Hook it up with a rounded edge favi, mine looks like shit:P
 
Pros:


  • nice design
  • good color choices
  • like the way the posts are organized
  • good domain name
Cons:


  • is the template too small? (the middle part of the skin)
  • are you going to add links?

Overall i give the site 8.5/10.
 
Like may have said great design but the BG to me seems to swallow up the great template in a sea of grey, other than that I thought I was using my ipod :P
