FBI is coming after you. Get rid of all illegal stuff that you have, delete all pirated contents you downloaded. >:)

Warez was never safe before as a wrong thing can't be safe.

Alright, let's assume warez would never end, but fbi will never stop to catch a big fish=). Illegal is illegal, legal is legal.

Well.. if you don't have much to loose (you don't have a job, don't have kids, don't have a wife, is underage, live in a country of third world, etc) you are okay to continue. But if you plan to have a real life (with a fix job, get a superior degree, wanna have a family, etc) I would say STOP, you aren't safe and is risking your life plans.

As some of you guys know, I went arrested by FBI in October last year due to piracy and money laundering (and yeah I live in Brazil), but I was released after paid the bail. And note that I was already out of warez for 8 months or so when it happened.

But keep in mind that my case was a really unique exception, they almost never act like that, I stayed in jail for 6 days while my lawyers were trying to free me and I was only released because I've collabored with them, took down all my 25 servers including all my downloading sites, gave them my private bots (they were quitte complex, spent over $50.000 to develop them, guess they are using it now to takedown copyrighted material and trace people), paid a bail of $100.000 and then signed a term of compromise to don't do nothing illegal in internet again (with a penalty of 10 years in prison if I get caught doing something and more $25.000 for each day of illegal activity)

I was making over $10.000/mo with my downloading sites. Now I'm out all of this illegal shit and I'm running a legal porn site in Brazil making our own videos (and officially distributing Bangbros and Brazzers in Brazil) with a company legally registered and etc, making much more in 1 month than I used to make in 6 months of warez.

The lesson? I'm more mature now and I know how much warez harms content creators.

Thread got an epic bump lol
All this "OMG WAREZ IZ DEAD OH NOES" crap is pure drama. It's not dead, in fact it's thriving.
With the publicity of MU going down (and everything else in the news @ TF), more and more people are learning how 'it' works, how to share files, and are actively engaging in the file sharing community.

As far as shitty warez sites going down is concerned - Thats really because some random person thought it would be 'cool' or 'would know how to build up a successful site', so they tried it and it failed, and on top of all the closed, fail warez sites, they all realized you don't do this for money; you do it for the sake of sharing files.

/thread
/end of story
/pls stfu with all the stupid "warez iz dead" threads
