Yes i am wanting to start a torrent site but can someone point my in the right direction for the right hosting and scripts to use

and i have use in html and java c++ and i know ho wto install scripts etc

or you can use btiteam's xbtit = www.xbtit.com + SMF integration (free version) = stability

Those are the only 2 that are easy and not filled with random security holes, although one can argue that.

leaseweb dosent allow torrents anymore i dont think as they had alot of legal issues

Leaseweb defended there clients in court when it happened which was cool.

Now P2P there is at your own risk.
And LEASEWEB ISNT EXPENSIVE its the cheapest NL dedicated server you will find.

yeah they defended them but they still dont allow...... i think u cud get away with it on one of there more expensive deals

I'd recommend taking up hosting in Sweden, torrent indexing is legal here.

thepiratebay.org is an example.

My Suggestion is You can take a NL Server or a Malaysian/Indonesian Server, which dont care about what you store on the server. Everything is allowed on the Servers.

For Torrent Site, you must have a Seedbox which is a Dedicated Server having High Security + 100 MBit Lines & 100% Uptime.
