I don't know how much you'd be uploading, and what hosts, but if your a beginner, I'd strongly reccomend you to start off with a VPS

i strongly disagree with this

even i buyed first time server from rapidspeeds first 10 days it was like totaly blank as it was unmanged server now i am ok with server..

as u asked about rar and unrar..many of my friends checked my server speed and they appreciate it take 1 hr to unrar in their server whr as in mine below 5mins everything get over..
