I'm completely a novice in vps hosting, and I ordered my first vps from (vpsfactory). Is there any tutorials on you tube? I don't know how to install cpanel on windows 2003 server. I was only provided one ip address, do I need another one to host a website. Sorry, if this question sounds dumb , but I'm new to this stuff.

It's fine :) obviously you can't install Cpanel on Windows 2003 servers.

Tutorial to setup your site can be found here: http://www.windowsnetworking.com/articles_tutorials/Web-Sites-Windows-2003.html

Since you are completely novice maybe this can fit your requirement:

Then install SQL Servers:

Then FTP server:

why get a vps if you going to host a simple site then no need for a vps and never get a vps if you not sure what your doing as you could end up doing something wrong and fuck your vps up complety

My site is not huge but its on a vps people would normally prefer it if they could afford it since shared hosting sucks and i dont recommend anyone uses it

And like vps ready said throwing yourself into the deep end 1st helps you to learn faster (y)
