ok i am using a paid for version of mcafee but today i went to log onto my banking account and managed to get a fraud pop up screen looked the same but was fraud


what virus scanner will find where this is stored and help me get rid of it

mcafee is pretty bad in my opinion...

If you are looking for a good paid virus scanner go with Kaspersky :)

If you managed to get to a website that looked like the real banking site then you managed to visit a Phishing website, there is no real way to get rid of these.. Just make sure you check the URL when you are doing your online banking to make sure it is the correct link.

why don't you just use Avira Antivir Free and Comodo Firewall?
The combination of both is very very good.
Then do weekly checks with Malwarebytes and Superantispyware.
Finally, clear weekly everything with Ccleaner.

This way you should be quite safe! ;)
 
dont use microsoft antivir becouse it throttles cpu, better use bitdefender total security, its best all in one antivirus 5 years with it and no infections, neer had to restore or to repair my system :)
