How do you plan to serve Europe decently with a cheap $200-300 US-based Fiberstate-style setup and garbage transatlantic routing? Not even mentioning your Contabo servers :D

Your site is just AI-generated eye candy with trash infrastructure, gold clothes on a donkey still make it a donkey.

Uploaders: Sites like this never last. I warned about dozens before, people argued, then came back admitting I was right (check my old messages).

Amateur projects always die eventually. Don't waste your effort.

@ortegapox I appreciate your feedback but let me explain you some things first.

1. Cheap US-based setup & garbage transatlantic routing

First , 99% of users don't care, video hosts are not Youtube with infinite ressources
As long as view counting / affiliates is decent and streaming speed is good who cares which provider a video host works with.

Spoiler: HLS Caching

Our Edge nodes (Fiberstate and others) operate as PoP-level HLS segment caches, they store fragmented .ts chunks on NVMe with sub-millisecond local I/O.

Our origine (168TB backend) is only hit on a cache MISS, which on warm content approaches 0%. This is literally how every major CDN like Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly works.

The architecture is provider-agnostic and horizontally scalable we can bring up a new cache node in Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Warsaw,Singapore or anywhere in the world in under 10 minutes with zero changes to the origin stack. Fiberstate is one of many providers we can/may work with, not a limitation. We scale PoPs based on traffic demand, and there is no ceiling on how many we can add globally.

2. The Contabo Theory

Upload Speed for Asia regions works excellent? for the rest users don't care

Our Singapore node (upload-proxy-sg-01.vidsonic.net / 217.216.111.15) is a reverse Upload proxy, completely isolated from the streaming stack. You conflated the upload path with the delivery path that's a fundamental misunderstanding of how upload and playback pipelines works.

Contabo Singapore has excellent BGP peering toward our DE/FI servers. Instead of Asian uploaders hammering a congested transpacific route with high RTT and packet loss, they push to a local endpoint that relays over a well-peered backbone. That's not budget infrastructure that's intelligent traffic engineering.

3. Sites like this never last

Time will decide that.
But, claiming a project will fail simply because of assumptions is just nosense


Final note:

Most video hosts don't die because of bad technology. They die because of bad math.

1 - Offering uploaders rates they simply can't afford (over-Paying) - CPMs have been dropping for a while now, and hosts that promised high payouts are slowly running out of money without even realizing it

2 - Spending too much on servers.
Bigger infrastructure sounds impressive but if your revenue doesn't support it, you're just accelerating your own shutdown and face the inevitable fate of death.

The hosts that survive are not the ones with the fanciest good affordable setups. They're the ones who keep their costs lean, pay uploaders what they can actually afford, and adjust when the market changes.

Anyway for clearing out the missunderstanding , when I said to you "You can find a lot of best paying hosts in the graveyard", I simply mean that every host that promised to pay high is dead because of the same reasons above.

We started already in Jan, lot of users are happy with us, we pay everyone on time our infrastructure and speed is pretty solid you may have a different opinion and I do respect it, but I believe we have a pretty good future based on numbers.
