Hello,

I just installed vBulletin and am having trouble formatting my website with the proper style and templates. Right now the forum just looks like a list with hyperlinks and its not laid out to look like a forum. What do I edit to get the layout set up correctly?
any suggestions on how to fix this?

From what you've said the problem seems to be that you haven't uploaded the files for the vbulletin, you've just uploaded the skin .xml with the skin you have now you should of got a bunch of files (images/css/ect..) and you also have to upload that either to the root of your forum or in a specific place where it asks you to.

Hello,

I just installed vBulletin...

a good place to get tones of answers about your vbulletin setup, addons, graphics, etc etc (everything basically), is the official vbulletin modification site >> www.vbulletin.org
thousands of topics and millions of answers.
also everything that they provide there is free (and secure)

edit:
very important
always double check that you are searching for your version of vbulletin.
a setup for another vbulletin version, even a theme, can mess up everything if its not for your version.
