This is pretty old. but anyone can go to Jail... they just need to want you. If one day the feds want to go after your ass then they will. It doesn't matter where you are at.. you better have some untraceable record....

All those big sites that are up MOST if not all have lawyers

@ CA the domains were sold a long time ago,and well most of them failed,as most sites tht get sold etc do,none reached the popularity of USAwarez as it once was when To0 aka Prodigy (amoung other online alias). I guess it took them this long to put him in jail lol.

Anyway i hope this happens to everyone that is profitting from illegal distribution of warez,it was meant to be free,which is still illegal, but if you profit from it this is teh kind of thing that can and will happen

If To0 deserves to be in jail, then we all do. Very hypocritical to act like we do nothing illegal or try to justify ourselves by creating "supporting facts" to back up our claim. I didn't like him very much altho he was respected by many people even if they deny it now. USAW was a successful site when To0 ran it, and to be honest I think he'd do well running any site, he was a smart kid.

Well yeah you run an arcade site now so I cant really "classify" you as engaging in illegal activities but in the past you did. I'm not singling you out, I'm speaking for everyone in general. Whether you ran a site or still do, as owner's we allow members to post uploaded links which they profit from. We make threads asking for them to fill our site with illegal content etc... There are many different ways you can put it but it all leads back to something illegal regardless or an association to say the least.

Indeed, asking money will just get you into trouble. Especially if the member gains access to MORE illegal content.

Altough I understand ads alone don't generate enough income to pay off the server bills, I still strongly suggest every warez-site owner to keep away from paying uploaders, adding uploader-status, asking money to get access to certain content.
Some, if not all, of the above mentioned "nono's" were/are done by platinumw :facepalm:

not to mention it's hosted in the US.
