The Problem is the player. The most Browser dont run with html5 player. IE9 can start the video but there are problems too. I cant do fullscreen for example. Is there a way to install JWplayer?

http://videojs.com/#section5

Compatibility - Mp4

JWPlayer: http://www.longtailvideo.com/players/

Edit: There is an other bug. If you are logged in and upload a file, some files arent in the account. You only see the files if you loged out. I have uploaded the video in my account but i only see the file if i signed out

We use a HTML5 player for browsers that support it or a flash fallback.

What does it mean? If the browsers dont support html5 they will start automatically with flash player?

If that is the feature, it doesnt work :(

We use mediaelementplayer for our audio and video which provides a native flash fallback. We will debug this issue further and get it working.

Ok thanks Uploadlab. Can you stop allowed to upload as a guest? It could stop the problem with the missing files. I mean, whats the problem to create an account.

Hey. I managed to debug the video error - it's because there are a number of HTML5 video format types that can be used, so if it isn't supported then the video won't play. I'll see if we can add a message if your video isn't "streamable".

As for upload as guest - that's not something we're looking to disable. What problems do you have with missing files?

its cause of the html5. I have tried 4 browsers and everyone show me an other result. The problem is that the most browser arent rdy for html5. For example:

I log in my account.
i start upload in my account
after uploading i close the browser
When i start the page again the files arent in my account. But if i loged out i can see my files as guest but not in my account. I have sent the name+pw to my friends. They dont see any files in the account. If they upload anything i dont see the files too.

The Problem with the video is very big too.

Here is a link to test the browser:

Hello. I got some feedback from our co-developer about this issue and it could be an issue with audio codecs used in the file.

This file:
http://www.uploadlab.com/#/movie/QswCR

Works fine.

As for your files issue I'm keen to get this resolved. Please could you install teamviewer and mail admin@uploadlab.com and send the ID/password so I can connect and help debug?

Thank you.

For those who want the best and maximum performance we'd recommend upgrading to a newer browser version for better support of HTML5 API's. However, we were thinking of adding video encoding to convert videos to a format browsers can play. Alternatively you could try uploading a filetype your browser does support and post back whether it works :)

oh sry i was too slow. I wanted to post all tests and results. Thats what i wanted to show is that there is no video + Audio format that all browser can play. I i use you hosting service for my project i need a mp4 support that accept all browser. So if you install JWplayer for example all browser can play this videos, do you know what i mean?

All my videos are converted mkv to h.264.mp4 + Acc Audio.

Unfortunately it seems as if JWplayer won't work. Our co-developer said that it wouldn't work even if it was being played in flash. The only option would be to support video encoding.

OK thanks i will test a little with the formats.

But i have tried to download a video with a size of ~2GB

"You have reached your storage limit. You can add a perk to increase your storage limit"

This should have now been fixed :)

EDIT: Just fixed it. I've set everybody to have 1TB.

ok, now it works. I have a suggestion. Can you add the conversation option but with original quality? The most conversations convert the file to low quality. But if there is no loss of quality it will be nice.

Hey everybody. We've just launched our new short url service (ulab.me) and have added it to EVERY file.

Just hit share and see the "short" input box for your short url - perfect for twitter, facebook etc.

Enjoy!
