I'm with ServeDome and also get that error - but as LEVAC109 said, you can just press OK & OK and then it should play anyways.

I get that error too but I keep pressing "OK" and it plays afterwards.

Yeah, it plays after pressing OK 2 times. But my avisynth doesn't find the filters installed for encoding.

did you change out put setting in media player settings?
Nope, everything is as it is set when freshly installed.

The problem is probably that the RDP virtual display driver doesn't do DX9, it's entirely software based. Go into the MPClassic settings and change the renderer. That should sort it.

Directx has nothing to do with your avisynth errors though. If the filters aren't installed, install them.

Okay, I'm able to play it after changing the renderer but still get this error with avisynth ....

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Ok, so it can't decide the video. It's AC3 with XviD so install decoders for both of those.

XviD is already installed because you were able to view the thing in MPC, so it looks like you don't have an AC3 codec installed. Install AC3filter and ffdshow and you should be fine.

As I said I had K-Lite installed, and that has all the codecs bundled.
I even tried uninstalling K-Lite and installed CCCP but even that didn't work. :(

^ i guess u want to play the video just for screenshot right ? If yes, use MTN with PHP wrapper or make a batch file using MTN & generate screenshot ;) that would help. I do that using PHP wrapper :)

Psss... The error seems to be coz of Display drivers not being installed.

I've never liked codec packs. Seems a bit pointless considering that with 3 or 4 separate codecs you can play everything.

Is the file corrupt? What does mediainfo say about it?
