that´s exactly what I´m thinking of....

Why this new hosts start a business with out money? it looks like they want to start a business with uploaders money :(

If I was the admin of a new host, I would give the best tools to my uploaders for free,so they can start spreading the whole internet with uloaded.to files, so DOWNLOADERS will MUST buy premium...
just like fileserve and others...

I think this is the best way to be a new "megaupload" ...

So I would ask for money to the bank first,and then start a business where I may not get good earnings after 6 months or something like that...

thats my opinion ;)
 
By the way, did anyone received any payment from this guy!!!??
I never heard of such thing like " servers must breath " . Everytime he said that something is not right with the server, we can`t do this or that becouse of the servers.
I have warned you, there are big chances this site to be from the same register with Filesonic, Freakshare who scammed us. When I hear about HongKong I have creepy. I remember some guys bought premium for life on Filesonic, they were cheated.
Simply by the fact this site is in HongKong I don`t trust it. I posted some files on it but I really don`t trust it.
Allow us not to buy premium from you just like that, I`ve lost 3 months of premium with Filesonic. I received tons of e-mails from him complaining about the server, you probable received them too.
Now really, anyone got any payment from him!!??
 
guys if you would have read the whole thread you could read that we've already invested about $8000 into this project before we appeared here...

We estimated 2000 users a day but now it's 50.000.

@ noia we know this otherwise we wouldn't get 10 new servers this week!

If you don't trust us I can understand! We hope after the first payments that those users that throwing stones at us now will say sorry for all this shit they were sayin' about us!

We planned this project 6 months ago and worked on it untill 2 weeks ago before we made any post here in this forum so please do not say we have not prepared ourselves... But how in the world shall we know that you upload several "TB" a day!

It's more than clear that no server can handle all this amount of traffic if this server/s was/were just prepared for 2000 users a day and now has/have to handle 50.000 visitors per day

if you don't believe us check our alexa stats!
 
In that case, I will be the first to apologize.
Since you allow porn, there are less chances to get banned for " posting porn " although I never posted porn, this is what I and others experienced with freakshare. They wanted a reason not to pay us and ban accounts. It is normal for us to have doubts and ask questinons.
For that, you have extra credit but just for that.
 
s55 is almoast dead....i am downloading from there with 40kb/s as premium on a gbit line...almoast all my files are on there and all my users complains about very very poor speed...
 
agree with noia 100% (this is the circle for customer for any successful BUSINESS) but we have to agree also the point uload.to stated also that project was planned for an X no.of visitors and now site reached x20 times more (they are honest we can say) so only thing is MORE servers to separate work (from remote-upload - ftp and DL--streaming) and spread the load ;)

only hope for uload they are prepared to grow and add things (servers - their support is ok) on it and also prepare for payment processor(s) as this thing takes time to approve etc. They notify users about changes also by email so probably they take project more seriously for sure. (not many filehosts do this)

we don't ban you for porn? why should we if you respect the copyright of third parties?

You can upload all your porn movies we don't care if those movies have been made by your own...

I just noticed that after two weeks of uploading, the first files I uploaded are all disappearing. This is very frustrating, it doesn't give me time to organize the files or find good places to post the links, as I am very busy with life otherwise. 14 days is a VERY short time for non-premium users' files to live. Can you change this to 30 or 60 days so I can at least have a chance to build up a balance with you so I can GET a Premium account? Thanks. 14-day file life is TERRIBLY short.

We never delete any user files!. Only on DMCA request. But we had a server crash and some files are lost :( We just could save 80% of them...

14 days??? it's 60 for free users and lifetime for reg/prem ???

Yes..i saw what you posted, but a week ago was about raid controller broke, two weeks ago was about restricting upload and disable/enable of PPD progam, now it's again another dead week...it's been too long and to many problems...users are comlpaining and they can't download...so please after this week don't disapoint us...in this rhythm nobody will buy premium.

i am sure of that. and i am serious about it.

i mentioned the importance of RU for the registered users.

i also know that at the time i am just typing here while i am not paying anything to anyone, you at the same are getting charged by the bills each minute.
i do have this in mind and i respect that.

i do understand that if you open the RU for registered, this will have an immediate impact at your company's expenses.
on the other hand by keeping it closed (for the registered) you will get extremely less links to sell, and a lot of registered users will leave your company.

having said that, maybe there is kinda of a solution at least for this moment when things are not so good for all of us (includes you too).
what if the registered users could have RU but in less speed (not turtle speed though)
maybe if something like that could be possible, it could help both sides.
yours and ours (ours=registered users).

i need to mention that the purpose of my posts is not to call you "bad guy" or "good guy" or put a stamp on your face. the purpose is to mention a specific issue which has to do with the benefit of all of us (including you of course)

Thanks for the quick reply, it must have been due to your crash and I just hadn't noticed.
BTW I read different places that about 60 to 70 % or more of DMCA notices are false or inaccurate because many companies use automated bots looking for keywords that send out millions of automatically-generated notices, many are sent for files the company sending them doesn't even own, or were triggered by a keyword used for a legitimate file. Is there any way to screen out the fake DMCA notices or maybe make them take the extra step to verify that they weren't sent out by an automated bot?
