Twitter share on your traffic?

I just want to ask if how effective a twitter account for your website. How much traffic do you get from Twitter, average numbers or traffic percentage per month?

I had a tv show streaming website which added all the latest episodes daily to twitter. That twitter account had around 600 followers, Don't know if they were targeted followers or even active accounts lol but to be honest, Wasnt getting much at all, I think the last 30 days probably 5-10 :D

is probably because I used one of those sites that gets you followers, they are prob bots, who knows.

i get 00000 visitors from twitter daily
but i get almost 100 visitors daily to my website from facebook
1 website gets 60-70 from facebook
others get rest 30-40 visits daily

My site started like a month a go and got 89 twitter followers got like 5 or 8 of them visiting my site regularly. not much in traffic also.

I used to get good traffic from twitter with 2500 followers, but there all real and not fake accounts :P

I havent used the account for four months now

I used custom auto-blogging software, that auto posts to twitter, and encourarages others to talk about my sites. So, Alot of traffic comes from twitter for me, Not the majority, but a significant portion, and its all 100% autopilot. So cant complain
Social Media, Esp facebook, is a key element to success. I have fan pages of 100,000's, One with 1.7 Mil, and 1.4 Mil. So think of the exposure from that. But thats a different story to twitter.

If you have Twitter followers and you tweet at least 3-5 times a day, then you surley have traffic.

I have around 1k followers on my twitter account and receive around 20-50 hits per post i tweet, sometimes i tweet anywhere from 2 - 5 posts a day.
