Twilight.ws - New Rating System Explained

Dear Whoo

You put filesonic in Gold. but now filesonic is the big problem to all uploaders for their Digital Fingerprinting Tech. Its deleted all uploads within very short time (Sometimes within 5 minutes, also before you update your Twilight.ws)

Hotfile also in gold, but uploaders currently not interested about HF for their last time's Account Suspension.

So, I think you should add Filepost or Filejungle in Gold.


BTW, your Twilight is now looking very Cool. And from my end Twilight is the best DDL now :)
 
When a site like twilight has a search by file host the owner of the site knows exactly what file hosts downloaders are searching for. Keeping downloaders happy is more important than webmasters I'm afraid as if you lose downloaders you lose webmasters.

Don't worry Whoo is a smart guy and as soon as he sees downloaders searching more of a different file host he will adapt the rules. You don't have the information Whoo has so you can't say what downloaders prefer.

I hope your not implying I don't reply to webmasters. I don't have anything to do with Twilight or any other DDL site.

As for Whoo he does reply to all webmasters but as he's just launched a new version I'm sure he'll catch up on emails and other questions as soon as the more important bugs are fixed in this new version.
About the rerate requests pending, aren't these now automated? Why would they be pending rerates if it's automated? Have you checked the webmaster area?
 
welll what i believe is automation is always good but autorating should be automated only upto 3* & make it hard/tough to get 4* & 5* rating which would be manual based on looks, how the site is for downloaders, amount of advertisement etc etc & that way it would be cool

well i know you have nothing to do with twilight but i was talking about mecho n yes whoo does reply to everyone
 
I think some of y'all are assuming ranks are completely automated now and I dont think they are because I see several 4 and 5* sites that are still under the minimum point requirements for each rank..given that and the stated requirements for rank in webmaster area (like nice looking site, clean etc) I'm pretty sure Whoo still manually controls ranks and the Point system is just another tool to help him do that as well as help webmasters see their shortcomings etc. so that we can know what we need to do to gain higher rank. It should make it easier for all concerned so I personally think it's a solid idea.

I have a question about 5* sites.
About this: "Website must submit a mixture of apps, games, movies, tv-shows, music (no porn!)"

this means a site that submit porn can't get 5*?
