First of all I´m not the owner of the hardware I´m about to offer in this post, I´m just a reseller and I´m telling you this because I know that it´s better to tell the truth to buyers to avoid confusions.

The thing is that after a lot of research on dedicated servers I really found a hell of an offer at RapidSpeeds so I was planning to take advantadge of their reseller plans to get even cheaper prices for everyone of us.

Needless to say that it´s a DEDICATED server so you can use it for everything you want for example: Seedbox - Streaming Server - Games Server - Powerful Web Hosting - RapidShare, MegaUpload or HotFile upload server, etc...

The idea is to get packs of 20 servers per order so we can get the maximun discount they offer [£15] of which you will get [£10], there is no catch here as you can see I´m only getting £5 per server for gestioning all the payments which seems fair enough too me

Has anybody tested them yet? I remember RapidSpeeds (I think they underwent a visual change) and it seems they added the EvoSwitch dedis but I'm really hesitant if it's actually unmetered bandwidth. I've asked customer support and all but still.. =/
 
Bullshit true unmetered 1Gbps is anywhere from $800-1500 a month

lowest I've seen is 500$ the first month then 1200$ the rest

what DC are they at?
 
I tried downloading the 100MB.bin to my US Shared Server (1Gbps dedicated line) and I got 17MB/s max using IDM. I say it has good up speed to US from EU :D

By the way, this is only pre-order isn't it? On the site, they'll be available on 23rd Aug.
 
Hi,

I just wanted to let everyone know the speeds from a test server:

The servers are not 1Gbps all the time, they are 200Mbps guaranteed, burstable to 1Gbps (6Gbps per rack, 38 servers per rack).

As there is multiple racks, it's 10G trunks that can be scaled from when needed.

Anyways, here's two speedtests.

No good bro, the screenshot you posted was from 1 server to another inside lan connection, thats why you got that speed.

@WebZiter, LEVAC109, somic: Are you sure that your server (if shared) weren´t used by more people at the same time you were testing the server? because as you can see I downloaded the file at ~70MB/s

Are they good for things like RL, TF, etc.? >.> (i.e, is there any risk of suspension on using these scripts?)

Yes Amz as knowinservers said these servers are specifically designed for heavy users.
Rapidspeeds must be down atm that´s why it´s not showing, try a little bit later.
 
Are you sure this is pure dedicated server ? I have buy one. And see when I install cpanel

This is not a dedicated servers ;)

SSH into your server and type in the following command:
