Traffic went down dramatically!! =(
Almost all of I know website suddenly their traffic went down(for stable 5k visitors a day went down to 1.5k visitors).
what happened?

this issue started yesterday March 4 2014..

Google may banned your whole site, because of SEO word spamming or something like that. And as Gavo said, check your webmaster tools.

A while ago I had a site that used to google a lot of DMCA's through the google webmaster's area and after a while my search engine traffic decreased dramatically, I registered a new domain name and 301 redirected the old domain to the new one and gain all my search engine traffic back. It seems that after you get some DMCA's google de-ranks your site.

I also read somewhere that DMCA's hurt your google rankings.

btw I'm not receiving a huge DMCA in my webmaster tool. I dunno why It was decrease other website that I know decrease also.

Hope that ..it 's google dance ...however I see my websites got hit by google dances and traffic down to 10 or 20 % and after a week It got back ...in your case I see traffic down to 70 % ...

Yes in your case it will be good but only for up to 7 days, after that you get a automatic penalty again (Google is not stupid).
