friends i'm new here, i have a shared hosting and i installed torrent flux on that, everything worked fine but from yesterday torrentflux is not working, it only shows "connecting to peers" . so i mailed them and ask about my problem and they replied " Can you tell us which port are you using so that we can allow it in our firewall ...we have recently install firewall to our server " i don't know which port they are talking about. so can anybody tell me which port need to allow to run torrentflux

i think the port of the torrentflux i don't remember wich port but you can check it in you settings if iam not wrong and you will get the port
 
^ yes bro they have allowed all port (443xx to 445xx) but still not working. SO i am thinking to buy a vps from them, and they assured me that i can run torrent, but i dont know how to install torrent client on vps
 
no host will allow you to run torrentflux or anyother bit torrent client on shared hosting...
you u need to get a vps or dedi..
regarding the installation it is pretty easy,just google it
 
when you will run torrent you will see on the upper side that port difference. 4XXXX-4XXXX. just tell them this. Hope will work. :):)
