WordPress, Joomla and Drupal - These three are the best CMS, I have ever seen, Among them WordPress is my favorite CMS which I am ever using.

+1 for wordpress.

Because there are alot of good seo plugins available for wordpress.

And wordpress by default is a seo friendly CMS.

All Content Managent SYstems are really good. But Wordpress is first choice because planty of seo plugins availble in wordpress market. You can easily maintain wordpress admin panel and with a lot of setting to help a blog in the search engines.

Wordpress is good if you have little experience with building websites and you just want a very simple but good looking website, really great for blogs which is why it is BY FAR the number one used CMS.

Drupal is good for advanced web developers looking to create a complex site with a lot of features, if the developer knows what they're doing it should look just as good as a Wordpress site.

Joomla is a CMS I have never even tried because every professional web developer I've talked to chuckles at Joomla. Its pretty rare to find a website that uses it these days, I think this CMS was popular about 10 years ago.

Specific to SEO, Wordpress and Drupal are on par with each other. Wordpress is easier right out the gate but Drupal can be used to get better SEO but it takes a hell of a lot of work and experience to get it right.
