i think it will be a good idea to have a list of the top 10 hosting companies it will save people alot of money too
As everyone can vote to say who they think is the best hosting company on wjunction

I for one have been ripped many times off people offering hosting here ive been through hell and back and now i think its time for wjunction to take some action. It will help innocent people like me ie there are company's advertising in the main banner. Even though wjunction is not responsible for their service but wjunction should not allow certain company's to advertise if their service is shite?

I think if members vote every month or so the company's that get negative feedback shoul'dnt be allowed to advertise eventhough wjunction may lose money but id rather wjunction helps its members get a good service :)

Maybe a thread dedicated to experiences of hosting companies? People looking for hosting would read through the thread and see which hosts have had negative comments and which have had positive? ;)
 
Top 10 hosting companies? Good idea BUT there maybe more than 10+ hosting companies who post on this website, so It would be unfair. I mean to solve your ''ripped'', or ''which host is best'' then I would recommend you to post in the hosting discussions area about the host, the WJ members/staff are very helpful and they will surely give you an unbiased review. We can however have an ''Top Host of the Month'' competition :).
 
altushost WAS the best but i had problems with their firewall blocking random ppls IP's so i switched

solidnode is also VERY good (other than the downtime today)

underhost is good as well

tmzhosting is like 100% uptime... they are in the USA but they dont care about warez

I would Suggest wrzhost.com

they have their slipups, but nothing that is service effecting.

solidnobe is having the crap DDoSed out of it at the moment, they need a firewall.

You guys need to read more thoroughly, extreme posted a suggestion not a thread where you post which host you like.

There are many good hosts, I see this topic has again changed in a host self promotion topic. However, I believe it really depends on the opinion. All hosts need to have at least 99.9% monthly uptime nowadays. Else they are not an acceptable host.
The support desks, well they differ between hosts. Some are understaffed, many are chaotic.
 
no one here self promoted.... you need to know the members of wjunction more be4 u can say that. the only hosting provider posting here is you, altho you didn't promote urself as hosting company of the month.
