To Much Traffic

I dont know whats going on but i havent added any NEW MOD but am getting Currently Active Users: 1669 (7 members and 1662 guests) to much traffic but all same IP address?

why am i getting this much traffic how can i fix it?

I had the same issue before got like 2k visits from China,although I didn't change anything. As long as your site loads your safe! :P

banning an IP from vbulletin admin cp wont help in a DDOS
ban the ip from your htaccess or cpanel

yes, you have to ban it from your server,
banning it in vbulletin doesnt stop them from going to your site

Do a reverse ip check on that one IP. that will give a lot of additional info. For example if it's an SEO mod you've added then the IP could be Google going crazy on your site loving the new mod. If you were to ban the Google IP..... well that's just dangerous.

Never EVER ban an IP unless you know where it's comming from. Remember Google can go crazy for an hour and then calm down again if you've changed something even if you consider it minor.

Please please find out what the IP is before you go and block it just to be safe.

block the ip in your cpanel, not in forum. Ban ip in cpanel it slef.
may be the ip starts with 113 or 183 :p ban it
other wise it will f**k forum

please ban in cpanel - that's important, banning in forum is no use.

But the stats was looking beautiful to be honest:D

but one day am sure i can get it :D

Btw why did i get that much tarffic from that IP
