Really depends on if you are also going to store and play videos aswell.
If you are.
To start with use a x2 quad core with only 8gb of ram as its cpu you need.
I would take 12TB of storage with raid 10 leaves you 6TBs of space to use, the rest is backup.
But you also could use a quad core with HT aswell,make sure its on atleast 500mbit - 1000mbit line unmetered.
