I was looking through our traffic stats and I noticed:

catalyst-hax.com (referral) catalyst hax 1268 1.60%

I could not help but laugh as they have ripped wrzhost.com's website and still left the links on various pages showing our plans, our whmcs which was causing people to browse to our site by mistake which has lead to sales.

That would explain people asking about game servers....

Thought I would share that with you :)

Indeed - but still I'm not sure if I should sit here and let the traffic flow in or report them for DCMA - they are hosting with Underhost Networks ltd (which isn't limited btw)

On a VPS at vpsfactory.net

so.. I think I might email Dirk to sort this out
 
The site are hosted with us, sent your abuse email to abuse@underhost.ca

catalyst-hax.com are hosted on shared hosting server from WorldStream not sure how vpsfactory as been involved in your thread.

I'm sure Michael will work something out with you since the templates are really similar.
 
Well - It's pretty simple - remove it?

We are dealing with worldstream directly so we don't have to jump through your hoops.

and this is on the vpsfactory network (the IP) which is owned by worldstream.

lol the templates are more than similar...they are the same just new logo and such

I can't remove it myself, you will need to deal with our abuse department and Dirk from WS will simply forward your email to our abuse department.

Then i think vpsfactory are on 193.200.*.* range might be wrong on this, surely some vpsfactory user can confirm!


Edit: Ben Tate contacted WS then mail as been forwarded to Michael about this, Michael replied wait for his reply or phone number since the one provided was a wrong number and the user as been contacted regarding this issue.

You took that completely out of context, if you read the whole email if will say that catalyst-hax was - and they seem to have removed that post now.

As long as the user has been told - then there shouldn't be a problem.

And as I said - we don't want to deal with you - therefore we will go to WS.
 
Update: Michael fully agreed to takedown the site within 48 hour without any proof from warezhost, since they aren't able to get in contact with us.

We usually request some proof for those kind of request but as good faith we requested the user to remove the wrzhost templates.

I've also contacted the webmaster of this website, they have 48 hour toremove the site templates since after investigation it clearly show some"wrzhost" code on it.

You guys really needed to investigate this?
