I have a vBulletin 3.8 (:pirate
and I have a "little" problem with it.
In my opinion vBulletin 3.8 interface looks like XX-century interface.
vBulletin 4.x interface looks like same XX-century interface with very big code with bags.
I want to cange it, but I know almost nothing about ajax, jquery, yui etc.
Many hacks use jquery, but there are a problems with its work and I do not like to use many toolkits in site.
For example, wjunction use:
This is just for example. This is not a close study, not a criticism and not hacking attempt. Just a first look at the source code.
I do not want to load two libraries on my site. (Perhaps I will, but don`t want )
Maybe someone knows what hacks can make a modern interface with only one-two libraries?
Or maybe someone can suggest a new script for another forum? I try to use it from vbulletin.
I need:
the use ajax for personal messages, posts and topics - automatic display the current status of the forum without pressing F5;
the ability to hide content for "Like" or "Reputation" (Hide Hack Resurrection);
the use of modern personal messages (like chat for two).

- JavaScript library jquery.min.js (1.8.2 version)
