i wouldn't be so sure about EU hosts. there's a guy in the UK who has been arrested BY THE US for linking to copyrighted material. the US are trying to get him extradited so he can be prosecuted in the US. he has no affiliation with the US at all. for more info, google "Richard O'Dwyer".

Some people are idiots... IpTransit is a CDN provider, they host the main site of filepost in multiple locations around the world, .us .nl etc... the files are hosted in .nl - the site is hsoted in .nl for most users...

Filepost's files are hosted in .nl as is most of their site, the IP flag may show .us but this is cause all IpTransit iPs are .us
