Uh well my server was down earlier, not sure if its was the same issue but still.

Also it does effect me since i can't get in contact with live support when the site is down.

Service Review

Hi guys,

Just got an encoding RDP fro tehHost.net and here's my thoughts on it -

  • SetUp Time was very less - My RDP was set up and details e-mailed to me within 1 hour of opening the ticket.

  • Almost all encoding and uploading related tools were pre-installed.
    All I had to do was set up MeGUI and it was good to go. :)

  • Torrent Download speeds from private torrent was in the range of 6-8 MBps . And its pretty darn good if you ask me.

  • Encoding a 2 hour movie took just 2 hours which is pretty good too.

  • Very Fast RAR Speeds ... took me just 8 seconds to RAR a 600 MB file -

  • Upload to RS was again real fast...check below screenshot -

  • Upload to FSC was VERY GOOD with FTP...check below screenshot -

So overall, I would say this is a very recommended Host, very quick support on tickets, fast speeds, good processing power. If you're looking for a reliable host for encoding go with these guys. :)
