It is time to exercise your braincells again after the holidays.

This is the first time that Lowendguide.com holds a contest, it won't be the last!

I would like to introduce the Teach something, Win something contest brought to you by Lowendguide.com!

Lets start by presenting what you can win:

All prices in this contest will be paid for the first FULL year!



All you have to do to enter and have a chance to win is to write a tutorial/guide and send it to mikho @ lowendguide.com before January 20th, 2014.
Don't forget to include where you heard of this contest.



Rules of the contest

  • This contest is open to all who are interested.
  • You can submit any number of entries to the contest, each entry must include name/nickname, email where to contact you and where you heard about the contest.
  • Each entry must be the original creation and work of the entrant, in its entirety.
  • Each entry should not already be available on the Internet.
  • The tutorial/guide must be about VPS, writing about how to loose weight is not accepted. Type of OS/distribution doesn't matter but must be mentioned in the tutorial/guide.
  • The tutorial/guide can be a written document or a video.
  • Entries must be submitted before January 20th 2014.
  • By entering this contest you allow your tutorial/guide to be posted on Lowendguide.com in full or edited even if you are not one of the winners.
  • The winners will chosen by me as close as possible to the end date and the results will be posted on Lowendguide.com, Twitter. Facebook and on forums where I have posted about this competition

This is a friendly reminder to submit your tutorial/guide to have the chance of winning a XEN or KVM vps paid for a full year.


The winners will be able to chose among providers as Inception Hosting, Necs.co.uk, sugarvps.com, lowendspirit.com. Runner up prices will be shared hosting from freecpanelsharedhosting.com!


The tutorial/guide can be written or a video (sound or no sound doesn't matter). Main part is that someone will learn something from it.

Remember, you are not allowed to submit a copy of a tutorial/guide found on the Internet. It has to be written in your own words or "filmed" by you. Topic is free of choice. Google the hottest topics that you know about (the tutorial/guide has to be server related in some way). Rewrite it with your own words and make sure it works.
