Sync with embedded video

Hi there,

I had this idea making a site with embedded videos from different video sites and make a script on my site with subtitles which would be synced with this video.
The reason why I don't want to put the subtitles directly into the video file is that I would like to use subtitles in different languages for one video file.
I am seeking an advice how to sync these subtitles and the videos.
Any hints?

First: I think this is impossible/not worth the work needed

The only way would be a own video player I think. You need a script to always grab the actual url of the video and then play it in your video player. Also a good way to make money. But lots of work to always keep the script up to date. Also it won't work with every video site because no webmaster is willing to pay anothers traffic --> IP Bans etc..
