Personally i think SM has much more experience and he uses less help, plus SM doesn't take his camera crew with him, he just records everything himself.
MW seems like he brings to many items with him.

Ray Mears is skilful but Bear Grylls is skilful and entertaining, I love Bear Grylls.

I've never heard of Surivorman until now.
