I guess the speed got a bit better, doesn't take all that long to load on my side. I have quite a few to say about the site and they are as follows:

-Total posts 142909 › Total topics 145369 › Total members 136 . Just don't, that's a total killer, have real posts and not some autoposter.
-Give the banner some breeding space (http://screensnapr.com/u/gppvyu.png) Its too much in the corner.
-For a brand new site, get rid of ads for now. People hate ads that are just like in their face as soon as they go to a site, especially sites that are just starting out.
-Fix the favicon, by means of removing the white background in it.
-Make better forum buttons (overall). Don't emphasize too much on the navigation also, it does not need to be that big.

That's what I have to say about it for now, if you make changes I'll see what else I can help you out with.
 
- Improve the server, as it took ages for me to load the forum, I wouldn't be surprised if it crashed when you start getting a few hundred unique views per day :|
- Icons for the VIP Forum(s) are missing, I suggest you fill them in, as it looks incomplete - http://lulzimg.com/i6/48cd0d0e.png
- Get rid of the adverts, it's a new site; you wouldn't get any clicks to make a proper return + most users hate adverts, so getting activity into a new site with adverts wouldn't work.
- Replace the text link with a Katz button, those are the rules, they'd ban you if they found out, so act fast - http://lulzimg.com/i6/3b870efd.png
 
ok im just gonna reply to the comments that actually made sence.

The ad is somewhat in combination with the crappy hosting since im moving to a dedicated/vps rather soon.

been meaning to do that for a while but never got round it.

the navigation was kinda the main idea for the forum, had alot good comments about it.

Do you just buy your sites and pretend to be cool or what? *when u get a couple hundred uk/d* thats just insulting.
Any 3* with a fair amount of seo (considering the domains age) can reach way above that.

not gonna reply to this as i dont want to encourage everyone doing it but katz is aware of this.

You have a lot of content on the site, The speed is very slow if your run the vps/server think of compiling apache with fcgi, or using nginx
