It makes no difference; it's simply about protecting him from attacks or knowing his location for ordinary people

But if there's a court ruling against him, clownflare will hand over his location to the judicial authorities with ease

But it's legal and also follows intellectual property rights, so there's no problem.

Clownflare do not hand over your data to anyone, expect the one do it whom we do not use from clownflare network for example, we use FDCserver for streaming from their network not from clownflare

it only protect your origin IP they proxy it simply

You're absolutely you are right.

I only meant that if you have a big legal problem, Only in this case will they will hand over your location to the judicial authorities.

Won't happen, they simply will not provide you the service anymore your kicked out from them, and never they hand over your data to anybody, that is why every pirate sites is run by their network
